*Teacher& Educationist – (1938 to 1963). After his B.A. (1934) and BT (1937 ) studies he actively pursued a teaching

He intended to expand the establishment into a Residential School later on. But sustained losses in this venture and had to close it within 4 years. Future dreams fizzled out!
*Creator of a Children’s Encyclopedia – A Project of Encyclopedia for School Children(1961–1965) – Published two prize winning volumes. A total of 12 Volumes were planned. Two were published and third volumewas ready to go to press. However, the scheme had to be abandoned for want of funds and also due to his ill health.

AFTER HIS DEATH (17/09/1985) following two books were published –
*Bheten Punha- The manuscript of this novel was kept by him in a trunk for 35 years. It was written in 1952.
By initiative of family members it was published by Majestic Prakashan on 24/12/1987.
*Bereej Ani Wajabaki – A book that covers, briefly, his life and career. This was a sponsored book by Samant Family.
Prof. V. S. Choughule was commissioned to write it based on a basic structure and information from
different sources provided by Samant Family. It, too, was published by Majestic Prakashan in October 1993.

i)He had good singing voice and learnt classical music also. He put down his thoughts about music. There are few records of his own Group songs (‘sanghic geete’) written, composed and sung by himself recorded by HMV in 1939.

ii)He contributed to JyotiChitra – “Chiranjeev” which starred AnantDamle. The screen play and the songs of the film were by him. The film was completed but unfortunately it could not be released for some reasons. There were 8 songs in the film and all recorded songs are available. This film was produced in 1939-1942
